PRAYER REQUESTS
We believe prayer changes things. Thank you for allowing us to pray for you!
I'M READY TO SAY "YES" TO JESUS
We are excited that you made this important decision and we’d love to celebrate and support you!
POSTURE: Dependence & Generosity
The disciple lives with open hands: ready to receive from God and ready to give to others.
Give us. Forgive us. Lead us. Deliver us.
1. “GIVE US THIS DAY OUR DAILY BREAD” — DEPENDENCE
“Give us this day our daily bread.”
Jesus teaches us to trust our Father daily.
God provided Israel with manna, giving them what they needed for each day.
Dependence is about God’s dependability.
2. “FORGIVE US AS WE FORGIVE” — GENEROSITY
“Forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors.”
Open hands work in two directions:
Receive grace. Release grace.
Ephesians 4:32 teaches us to forgive others as God in Christ has forgiven us.
2 Corinthians 1:3–4 reminds us that the comfort we receive from God equips us to comfort others.
What we receive from the Father should shape what other people receive from us.
3. “LEAD US AND DELIVER US” — TRUST
“Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.”
I need You to provide for me.
I need You to forgive me.
I need You to lead me.
The younger son rejected dependence
The older son rejected generosity
When we live in God’s grace, we should live out God’s grace.
“See what kind of love the Father has given to us, that we should be called children of God…”
Father, I depend on You.
Father, let Your grace flow through me.
Father, I trust You.
